Lombardia is one of the northernmost regions in Italy, on the edge of the Alps, bordering Switzerland. Its scenery encompasses rolling hills, large plains and many rivers. One of its famous regional dishes, featured on this menu, is pizzoccheri, a buckwheat tagliatelle pasta.
